Please understand my rates include not only my time conducting the lessons, but also lesson prep time, and travel costs.
45 Minute Lessons – $55
60 Minute Lessons – $65
Note:
I am no longer offering 30 min lessons, after years of teaching it’s become clear to me 30 minutes is not enough time to teach a new concept and reinforce previously covered material. The extra time an hour or 45 minutes offer really goes a long way in setting up the student for successful practicing through the week.
Policies:
Payment:
I will no longer be accepting payments with cash or through PayPal. Moving forward I will exclusively be using Zelle, Venmo. I apologize for the inconvenience, but simplifying my payments makes accounting so much easier for me come tax season.
Holidays and Seasonal Breaks:
Please understand that as a private business, I teach in multiple school districts and I do not take the same seasonal breaks or days off as your student’s school district does. The only official holidays I take off are Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July, and Easter. Of course you’re more than welcome to take any of these days or times off, I just ask you to give at least 24-hour notice via text or email. If you choose to take an extended break of a month or more, I require to be notified at least 2 weeks notice so I can plan accordingly.
Cancellations:
Due to the frequency of “day-of” cancellations and “no shows” I’ve decided to enforce a 24-hour notice cancellation policy moving forward. I require to be given notice via text or email 24 hours before our scheduled lesson or you will be fully charged. Please understand that when you book me for a lesson you are paying for my knowledge, AND time. Last minute cancellations leave me without enough time to fill that gap with another lesson while often still having done the work of preparing for the lesson.
